A simple change can make a great difference.
Change the background color or the favicon, yours is still the default one. http://www.myfreeforum.org/images/mff.ico

I don't think those two are too hard to change, at least they aren't in the forum software I use . If there is one thing I've learned it's that the first impression is a very, if not the most, important thing for a forum.

Seeing the default skin usually means that the Admin didn't want to put time and effort in the forum I said usually! It's general
Of course It could have many other reasons like: No time, No idea how to do it!

I don't know your situation and I don't try to say something nasty about you, I wish I could help you out with the skin but I have no experience what so ever with this forum software.

Same. I have very little idea what I'm doing when it comes to changing stuff around. But I have been fiddling...to no result though. And exactly that...time. I do have limited internet useage at the moment but when my wireless is back up I'll be back to fiddling and changing things...

I'll get this forum up to scratch. Fingers crossed.
